IAR, the French Bioeconomy Cluster, announces the organisation of BIOKET, its first international conference dedicated to innovative processes and technologies applied to biomass. At the time of industry 4.0, circular economy and the constant optimisation of production processes, Key Enabling Technologies constitute an essential stake for industrial sectors. The event will bring together more than 300 experts to discuss these topics of innovative processes and technologies applied to biomass.

Context
Biomass is a wonderful resource that can be turned in a wide range of products: biobased chemicals, and materials, food products and ingredients, energy... However, the adaptation and optimisation of technologies and transformation processes is a real challenge to fully valorise all biomass fractions. At the time of Industry 4.0, Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) underpin the shift towards a greener and more sustainable economy. They play a key role in the modernisation of the industrial base while fostering the development of entirely new industries. BIOKET, the BIOeconomy 's key Enabling Technologies conference, aims to contribute to the rise of key enabling technologies in the bioeconomy sector.
